Israel's disgusting attacks

So, there's a truce in the war in Gaza. Israel sets up a three-hour truce so that humanitarian workers can get aid to civilians.

Then fires at and kills the aid workers. How can the UN continue in these circumstances when its own aid workers are being killed and injured, even when they are in direct coordination with the Israeli liaison people, who are supposed to ensure their safety.I don't blame the UN for suspending relief until it can be assured humanitarian workers come out alive during a ceasefire.

Although Hamas started this scrap, I guess its one step forward for Israel - from drinking Pepsi while watching Gaza burn, to killing aid workers when their fingers are not supposed to be on triggers.

Saying that Israel "fired and killed the aid workers" is false. The story that you have linked to says that the strike killed "at least one contract worker."

Secondly, while this is bad, take care that you don't simply add it to a huge pile of propaganda coming out int he news about the situation. As illustrated in your incorrect comment noted here and even moreso elsewhere, truth is the major casualty here.

Short of national suicide, what do you propose Israel do? Proportionality will not work.

Hamas started this scrap" is a Western POV. HAMAS (Harakat Muqawama ISlamiya) defined as "Islamic Resistance Movement"
is a resistant political party, therefor they oppose what they disapprove or disagree with! In this case giving away THEIR land to the Israelis!!

Sorry Glenn, I should stop reading headlines that say " Israeli strike kills at least 1 aid worker".At least one could mean more than one. But not less. ANd if you read forther into the article I linked you wil read" UNRWA director John Ging said one aid worker was killed."

So my blog post was more accurate than your comment.
