Smacking referendum likely
Just been advised that the collectors of signatures for the smacking referendum have now got 380,000 signatures. So it looks likely that there will be a referendum. Or will they go to Crown Law for advice - like everything else - once authorities realise that there is enough signatures to force a referendum.

What on earth could their question be?
"I vote to support beating children with legal impunity." Y/N
This is all Bollocks!
John Key could have sorted this once and for all.
He could have said in parliament "if you pass this , when we come to power we will rescind it and make it right to ordinary Kiwi Families".
"This is wrong to treat the 80% of decent ordinary Kiwi families like this, the National Party won't allow it".
"We will craft a law that allows for sensible discipline but now abuse, a smack on the bum is not assault".
(I wrote to Him before the law change about this very thing.
he can't say he didn't know)
Did He?
Like FUN.
Know he engineered with Peter Dunne the law change that makes a criminal out of all decent Kiwi parents who give a smack on the bum!
At best they get investigated by NZPolice and CYPS those two paragons of virtue, impartial fairness and honesty.
That's why I won't be voting for National because he's worse than Helen at least we know she's rotten to the core.
he's a flip flop.
helen Clark has more Balls than John Key!!
