Let's hope his appeal outcome is like Mark Lundy's - an increased term of imprisonment from the Appeal Court judges.
I wouldn't be surprised if he got a stiffer sentence - he obviously has no remorse and feels completely self-justified.There are very few people who should be locked up for their entire lives, but Weatherston is one of them IMHO.
It's just a ridiculous notion. As if his victim's family hadn't endured enough already. I suppose this will be more tax-payers' money wasted. The death penalty gives no right of appeal.
