National to be busy after election
National is going to be busy after the election changing the RMA, repealing the EFA, and amending the ETS. It is also going to abolish the Electoral Law panel appointed by the Greens and Labour only yesterday. It's a decisive move after National was not approached in discussions for a panel that should not be decided based on partisan self serving politicians who only want state funding of political parties because they're broke.

The latest polls put Labour/Greens/Maori/Progs at about 4-5 seats short of winning the election over National/ACT/UF. NZ First may or may not be there....and I doubt they would go with the Nats now if they are.
It might be a little early to be giving National the win.
As for the electoral law review, isn't it to be done by a Citizens Fourm? Why would National oppose that?
Better a government - whoever it is - that's busy concentrating on improving things which really matter than one with so much time on its hands it busybodies itself interfering in matters best left to individuals.
hp: Wha issues is the present government being busy bodies about?
I read this claim all the time, but rarely do I see any substance to back it up.
Meanwhile, National won't tell you hat to do, they'll just limit your options by making you pay more for whatever it is.
Road tolls, for example, instead of better public transport systems that would make the new roads unnecessary in the first place.
Truth Seeker,
can you please advise Nationals policy on road tolls.
