And about time too. Should have done it in February 2004. I hope we`ll find out how much money he gets. Perhaps hes now finished his state-funded law degree and feels it is time to perf off.

My left column of page contains a real story with a lot of original doccuments. They called oficial "Cigarette 2 scandal". In fact was a fake, no cigarettes on board of airplane IL-76 wich take off from Athens, landed at Bucharest Otopeni. Overnight standing at military apron was necesary for secret services to load the romanian anti aircraft missilles for underembargo destination ( Teheran-OIII code IATA ).
Can't help thinking that whatever they paid him to 'go away' - it will be cheaper to the tax payers than another drawn out trial.

Is it about time? Quitting just before his hearing seems to be simply maxing out his time and benefits.
Maybe it would have been better for us to hear the whole case. This is a situation where justice needs to be served for the Police to regain credibility.
I'm not well versed on the case to understand what the final result should be, but I suspect that this story is sending a strong message to people that living an immoral life still has consequences, regardless of how much standards have lowered.
